The 77th Annual Meeting of the Northeast Section of the American Society of Plant Biologists will be held at the Universtiy of Massachusetts Amherst, Massachusetts on Saturday April 20 and Sunday April 21, 2013.
The conference begins on Saturday afternoon with a symposium entitled:
"Translating Fundamental Research into Crop Improvements".
Registered participants will then attend a scientific poster session followed by dinner and entertainment. On Sunday morning, the conference will conclude with two platform sessions of scientific talks and a business meeting.

Registration includes Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast, coffee breaks, & poster session refreshments.
Travel Awards available: Undergraduate and Graduate student and postdocs giving a poster or oral presentation can apply for a travel award to help defray costs of registration, travel or lodging.

A block of 40 rooms have been reserved at the Universtiy of Massachusetts Amherst Campus center hotel (http://www.umasshotel.com/) at the rate of $120 per night plus applicable taxes and fees. Please use conference group code APB13C for room reservations. Attendees should contact the hotel directly by April 10, 2013 to secure their reservation. Conferees may continue to call in for a reservation after this date, however rooms and rates will not be guaranteed.
